Would love a source for this. I would think companies and devs a like focus mostly on developer productivity. Unless you’re doing heavy computation the speed of the language doesn’t matter much. Just look at github. It’s written in ruby! That’s something you can call a terribly slow language, but it doesn’t seem to matter that much.
